Microsoft Windows 8 Edges Closer

Windows 8 LogoRumors are firming up that Windows 8 is set for an October 2012 release, and to help fuel this speculation Microsoft have taken the covers off the new logo for Windows 8. Getting away from a flag style look of recent years Microsoft’s new look resembles that of the original Windows logo from the very first version of Windows. The new look for Windows 8 also matches up with the Windows Metro experience that is set to take over across the entire Windows 8 experience from Desktops, Tablets and Smart Phones. Have a look at the video below outlining the new design and let us know with a comment below what you think of the new look for Windows 8.

How To: Restarting An iPod or iPhone

0

How do you restart a locked Apple iPod (and iPhone as well)? Well that’s generally pretty easy depending on which iPod you have. On the iPod Classic and iPod Nano devices it is just a matter of holding the center of the clicker wheel and the menu button for a few seconds and the device will force a restart. On the iPod Touch and iPhone its a little easier, it’s just a matter of holding down the top power button until you see a slide to shut down appear on the screen. If the slide to shut down doesn’t appear on the screen keep holding and it will for the iPod Touch or iPhone to force restart. Check out this video below showing you how to do everything we’ve just mentioned.

Hopefully that helped you out. For this and more tech news, reviews and how to’s keep tuned into www.insydetech.info
