The Next Web (thenextweb.com) have reported that New Zealand based Facebook users have started noticing that their Facebook Timeline profiles have changed, check out their article here.
The changes seem to put a greater emphasis on communication between friends with photos and other news feed items taking a reduced presence in the new layout. It is unclear when or if any other Facebook users will start to see the changes to their profiles.
