Nikon – Nikkor 80th Anniversary
Nikon are celebrating its 80th anniversary of the launch of its Nikkor photographic lenses in Japan. Nikon will use 2013 to celebrate Nikkor’s 80 year heritage, starting off with a special logo to showcase on Nikon merchandise. Nikon have also released this special video (at the bottom of the article) showcasing the meticulous process of creating Nikkor lenses, which in many cases is still done by hand.
Nikkor lenses are used across most of the Nikon range, from its Coolpix camera’s through to the top of the line interchangeable lenses for the Nikon Professional range.
