Ubisoft Confirm Assassin’s Creed 4

Assassin's Creed

Assassin’s Creed

Assassin’s Creed is one of many popular series from game developer Ubisoft. The most recent installment of the franchise Assassin’s Creed 3 which is set in the American Revolutionary War had already sold more than 12 million copies before the end of 2012. Now Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot has suggested, during the announcement of it’s quarterly earnings, that we can expect to see next Assassin’s Creed (which will actually be the 5th in the series) by the end of 2014.

Each Assassin’s Creed game features a different hero character in a different era in history. The first Assassin’s Creed was set during the Crusades, the second during the Italian Renaissance, and the Third is Revolutionary America. With new consoles on the horizon from both Sony and Microsoft, it will be interesting to see where the Assassin’s Creed franchise will end up next, but we do know it will be in stunning detail.

In which era would you like to see the next Assassins Creed set? Let us know with a comment below.
