Google have announced a new ChromeOS Laptop the Chromebook Pixel. Working with Samsung on their latest creation, Google’s new Chromebook Pixel is a change in focus for the Chromebook market place. The Chromebook Pixel, is a high-resolution, touchscreen laptop designed not just for the cheap end of the market place but everyone.
While the new Chromebook Pixel features a Gorilla Glass-covered screen with a 13 inch, 2560 x 1700 touchscreen panel set to take on the Retina display of Apple. The Chromebook Pixel also runs a Intel Core i5 processor, making it the fastest of Chromebook to be released, but only offers 32GB of internal storage. This is because with ChromeOS everything resides in Google’s Cloud environment and to get you on board with that Google are offering Chromebook Pixel purchasers 1TB of free cloud (Google Drive) storage for 3 years with every Google Chromebook Pixel sold. Google have also thrown in a LED bar on the top rear of the screen that lights up in different colors… well just because they can.
