Microsoft initially introduced Internet Explorer 10 (IE10) with Windows 8 back in October last year. Yesterday Microsoft made IE10 available to Windows 7 users via download through its website - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/download-ie.
Microsoft have also advised that they will start to automatically rolling out the IE10 update to Widows 7 users currently IE9 shortly. Microsoft also say that IE10 will 20% faster than IE9, offering much greater support for newer web standards like CSS3 and HTML5 than previous versions of Internet Explorer.
In conjunction with this announcement Microsoft have also released a couple of videos to highlighting the touch screen features built into IE10 (which really only apply to Window 8 users) which you can see below.
