Teenage boys can rejoice as Lara Croft and Tomb Raider are back… This time its a much younger Lara Croft, as this Tomb Raider is designed to be a prequel to successful franchise originally released in 1996.
As the website promotes “Tomb Raider explores the intense and gritty origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from a young woman to a hardened survivor. Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold.”
The Tomb Raider prequel that has been in development since 2010, was produced in partnership between Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics is available for purchase from today on PC, PS3 and XBox.
